TRAMINER AROMATICO

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
The less aromatic and lighter skin ancestor of the pink skinGewürztraminer, used to make white wines. It was cultivated for example in Moravia, in former Czechoslovakia, where it is also called Prinç. It takes its name from the town of Tramin or Termeno in South Tyrol. In several countries such as Germany, Italy, Austria, Romania, much of the former Soviet Union and Australia, Traminer is also used as a synonym for Gewürztraminer.
WINE
Straw-yellow color on a bright gold background. With a fresh, vinous scent, it changes into a characteristic bouquet where you can smell the rose and, further away, the black currant, the muscat and the sweet spices. It has a dry but not harsh taste, very personal, aromatic even on the palate; the fruity scents, apple and peach, seem to play with caramel and nutmeg: the result is an elegant and complex and almost smug.
FOOD MATCHING
It is a dry white wine, good with soups and minestrone, with cold cuts and meat from the regional cuisine.
Serving temperature 10 ° – 12 ° C.
